Core Web Vitals, measuring loading speed (LCP), stability (CLS), and responsiveness (INP) are now critical ranking signals for Google. To solve this, Google Chrome introduced the Soft Navigations API, currently in testing with Chrome 139. It detects “soft navigations” inside SPAs, ensuring metrics like LCP, CLS, and INP are captured accurately even without full reloads.
